Tri-Uni Law Cup

Drop your text books, pick up your gatorade and get creepily excited about watching law ladies and gentlemen prancing around the netball courts and tearing up the touch fields. The 2015 Tri-Uni Law Cup will be held on Saturday 29 August and your Law Society needs you to don on some fancy colours, pretend you know how to sports, and frolic around like it’s a high school sports carnival where your PE teacher spiked the water station.

soccer

Soccer is a game in which two teams of six players aim to score the most points by kicking a round ball into the opposing team’s goal.

Netball

Netball is a game in which two teams of seven aim to score the most points by throwing a ball through a netted hoop.

Touch

Touch is a non-contact version of rugby league in which two teams of six players aim to score the most points by grounding the ball into the touchdown zone.

Dodgeball

Involving 6 people on the court at a time, teams will throw balls at each other until they are the last standing. This is a sport all university students must try!

Badminton

The badminton program consists of social hitting and informal games for all participants. You don’t have to be a student or be an experienced badminton player!

Volleyball

Score points in volleyball by hitting the ball over the net to hit the ground of the opponent’s side of the court. The challenge is that you only have three moves!

Basketball

This is yet another very popular social sport with varying skills. The perfect sport to get you running, build up your team work skills and make new friends.
